Welcome to

McIntyre Ski Area

It’s time to discover Manchester’s Winter Playground! Thousands of children and adults have enjoyed skiing and snowboarding at McIntyre since the chairlift began turning in 1971. The Snowsports School opened 5 years later in 1976, and today we’re Southern NH’s gateway to learning how to ski and ride!

In 1996, McIntyre Ski School, Inc., a private organization, opened the retail and rental shop, providing guests of McIntyre with a place to purchase skis, snowboards, boots, and winter essentials which can still be found in the shop today.

2009, McIntyre Ski School Inc. took over operations of the ski area from the City of Manchester. Since that time, the area has seen vast improvements, including: an 8-lane snow tubing Bonneville Thrill Hill with conveyor lift, two conveyor lifts for the Beginner Areas, updated terrain park, new snow-making & grooming equipment, and a new 9,000 sq ft. lodge.

In 2017, McIntyre Ski School, Inc. changed ownership with long time President and General Manager, Ross Boisvert taking over and reestablishing as McIntyre Ski Area, LLC. Ross Boisvert has been a huge part of McIntyre since 1983 by starting out as a ski instructor and then working his way up to Snowsports Director in 1989. Thirty years later in 2009 he became General Manager and President of McIntyre Ski Area. Most recently, President and GM Ross Bosivert received the 2021 Einar Aas award for Excellence in Snowsports School Management.
